Its warm and ready to eat!

If you want to eat right and are on a busy schedule, find a crockpot. You can load it up the night before (and refrigerate until the AM) or the morning of the day you plan to eat it for supper. Choose a lean roast of beef, pork, or even a chicken and throw into prepared (sprayed with the cooking release spray like Pam or your favorite cheap brand) crock pot. Add vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic or whatever else you like. Season it up with herbs and spices or use a dry instant soup mix (onion works well) and one can of cream of mushroom soup with one to two cans of water, or water mixed with wine, and put on high for 6-8 hours... voila! You have a tasty, healthy, and warm meal to eat at night.
Now, if you are concerned about your weight - look at your portion size. Fill half your plate with vegetables and limit your meat portion to the size of your palm.
